The Tea Plantations around Taipei

Just on the edge of Taipei, by the zoo is a cable car.  The cars have glass floors which is cool, you don't get much of an additional sense of height as you are travelling over forest.  Once you reach the top you are in tea producing country and it is lovely.  You can wander around the plants, have a quiet pint or two and escape the bustle of the city.
