Hebdon Bridge is a quaint little village in the Calder Valley in Yorkshire. When we were last here, just before Christmas, it was pelting doon with rain and a few days later the whole place was flooded. The floods were so bad that many businesses didn;t reopen until a couple of weeks ago. They had a a second Christmas, with tree and everything, at the end of June to signify that things were now, finally, returning to normal.
It was obvious that many of the shops had only just reopened as they didn;t feel fully stocked yet. I don't think I have ever been there before in nice weather.... The reason it floods is that it always seems to be raining there! However, on this occasion as early evening set in, the skies lifted and it was a lovely evening for a canal-side supper.
This will be a blog about my latest shots and what I liked or was trying to do with them
