Just back from a jaunt in and around Madrid. As you can see the weather was stunning, especially for mid-November. Our first day there was a trip out to the former capital Toledo. It's very compact and easy to get round. is packed with churches, former mosques and even former synagogues too.
A panorama from outside the walls of the city of Telodo. Then more zoomed in and further to the right below.
One of the things about going on school trips is that you end up going to places you would never have considered going to. The Santiago Bernabeu is definitely one of these. Whilst it was fun to sit in the dug out and in front of the managers' interview backdrop I'm not sure I would bother with it again.
For a selective version of their history they could teach the Chinese government a thing or two. No mention of the links to Franco or the alleged corruption from the Madrid City Council in the form of loans and write-offs.
Interesting to see how they keep the pitch looking so good when, of course, the massive stands block out most of the direct sunlight.
This will be a blog about my latest shots and what I liked or was trying to do with them
I am a teacher of Economics and have worked in various schools in Europe & Asia. One of the things I love doing is getting out and about with my camera.
