This is to give an idea of the traffic chaos in China. I remember a year or two back, I was getting a taxi home with a couple of new members of staff. There were at least 3 occasions where they visibly winced at the antics of road users/near misses. Me, ho had been here a couple of years at that point didn't even notice.
Again, this is the view from our apartment.
This is one of my favourite things about China. In the early morning or in the evening in any public space you will find groups of people doing improving activities. For example, we regularly pass a guy doing Diablo on the way to work. Once he lost control of it and it missed by inches and ended up in the canal. His face was a picture as I dare say, was mine. There are people who clear their lungs by shouting random vowel .. EVERY morning. One bloke slaps a tree and of course Tai-Chi all over the place.
However, my favourite is the dancers. Groups of mainly women will dance in rows, sort of like line dancing. They all just have a nice time, it keeps them fit and gets them out of the house. There is something charming about it.
These were taken with my phone hence the colouring. The video gives a better idea of what goes on.
This will be a blog about my latest shots and what I liked or was trying to do with them
I am a teacher of Economics and have worked in various schools in Europe & Asia. One of the things I love doing is getting out and about with my camera.
